Hey everyone, this one is going to be huge! Zoo Legacy, Kardinal, Classified and Alex Silas will be hitting up Ritual Night Club this Friday as part of the Junofest festivities. The Ottawa Citizen is calling it “one of the hottest tickets of the weekend”. Dont miss it!
Zoo Legacy at The Piston @9pm
This Ottawa based band combines alternative rock and hip hop sounds that are sure to win over music lovers from all genres. They believe in style and creation and fuse it together so impeccably that you can’t help but stand in awe of their talent. Rhymes and melodic hooks combined with numerous instrumental intricacies, these guys are the ones you should be looking out for in the near future
The boys are hitting up Toronto as part of the Canadian Music Fest. Playing along side a number of great acts, this will be a must see show. Check out the link for the FB event and we hope to see you there!

We have an exciting new show to announce! The boys of Zoo Legacy will be headed to Toronto for the week of March 21-25 as part of Slacker Canadian Music Fest 2012. More information (such as the date and venue) will be announced as soon as we know.
Ottawa Citizen’s Top Songs of ‘11 & Ottawa Xpress Sounds of ‘12
The boys have been hard at work on their upcoming EP, and are staying out of trouble (for the most part). In the near future more light will be shed on this and on upcoming shows.
In the meanwhile, there is lots of exciting news on the press side of things to report. Fan favourite Shockwave was chosen as one of the ten best local songs in 2011 by the Ottawa Citizen (you can read more here).
Meanwhile, over at the Ottawa Xpress, Zoo Legacy was featured in their special edition “Sounds of Ottawa 2012”. Read more here!
…if I’m being really honest, I enjoyed Zoo Legacy a whole lot more than both Thursday and House of Balloons [by The Weeknd] put together.

AWARDS
The results from the Best of Ottawa Reader’s Poll are in! Zoo Legacy received honorable mentions for BEST NEW ALBUM and BEST NEW GROUP. With a total of 80,000 voters in this year’s poll, we are very happy with the result.
SHOWS
Last night’s show at Cafe Dekcuf was a huge success! Along with the AK47’s and Capital City Slice everyone enjoyed a great time and the place was packed to capacity.
